Wakefield MA Hardie Siding

These homeowners had 1 layer of cedar shingles that was completely at the end of its life. They hated needing to paint their siding year after year as the previous siding could no longer hold paint or nails. There was also a great deal of rot and water damage. This 1940s house needed an upgrade curb appeal, house wrap, and overall protection.

PBS installed James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding Hardie Plank with Hardie House Wrap around the entire dwelling and taped around all seams including windows. Siding is a 5″ reveal Cedar Mill in Hardie’s Color Plus Aged Pewter. We also added Hardie Window & Door Trim and Sills, Hardie Fascia,  Hardie Soffit, and Hardie Corner boards  in Arctic White and included crown shelf along the tops of all windows & doors.

These homeowners love the function of the Hardie Siding but continue to stress how happy they are with the level of detail in the trim work. Keeping the charm of this older home is importance to the PBS team and the homeowners. We have also received a great deal of compliments on the color selection, as Aged Pewter is versatile and timeless!
