About This Project
The homeowners wanted a gable roof instead of their existing hip style roof, new architectural shingles, and reframe 2 new skylights to add some additional lighting. It was important to them that the colors of the shingles played well with the other Earth-tone grays for the siding, trim, window, and door projects we were doing at the same time. The homeowners were very excited that we offered financing, so that all of these projects could happen at the same time.
PBS installed Owens Corning 6’ Weatherlock ProGrade Ice & Water Shield in all valleys and edges with a vented aluminum drip edge and metal flashing. We also installed ProArmor Underlayment for its strength and reliability. Then, we installed Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Designers Architectural Shingles & Hip & Ridge Shingles on hips & ridges. The color selected is Owens Corning Slatestone Gray.
The homeowners love their new fiberglass shingles and are excited to not have to deal with loose shingles flying off of their home every again!
