This family of six always uses their mudroom steps, but they needed a true, inviting entryway. We worked with these homeowners on a layout that complimented the awkward area and the walkway.

Professional Building Services installed Trex Transcend Decking in Tropical Spiced Rum in a diagonal layout with a Picture Frame detail in Tropical Havana Gold. Instead of PT or G-90 framing, we installed Fortress Steel framing for both the deck and stairs. Inspector approved no railings required, which the homeowners were thrilled with.

We’re happy with this whole project, which also included Therma Tru fiberglass entry doors, James Hardie Fibercement Siding & Trim, New Construction Harvey windows, and a roofing cricket.
