About This Project
This family added this portico to the scope of work during the siding consultation process after seeing our portfolio of porticos. The initial plan was for a portico with PVC columns and Versetta Stone around the column base. However, this would have interfered with town setbacks; so the homeowners decided to simplify the design a bit. We think it turned out amazing!
Professional Building Services prepped the hip ledger for the new roofline, fixed all water damage and rot, and flashed the connection point with Grace Ice & Water Shield. We built the gable roof and installed Metal Roofing in Matte Black to add a modern accent and improve curb appeal. We trimmed out around the roofline in PVC Fascia and Crown Moulding with vinyl beadboard ceiling underneath.
This portico really gave the front of the house some dimension and curb appeal!
