These homeowners contacted us because they wanted a low-maintenance solution for the entire exterior of the home. Even though they started the consultation process for just siding and windows and doors, they were able to add the two front decks to their scope of work with our financing options! The existing front steps were never used as the concrete slab was sinking and pulling away from the house & the porch wasn’t well supported for the proper weight load of the roof. PBS built 16 x 4 and 5 x 5 decks with ground contact rated pressure treated framing. We love the contrasting white railings and posts with black round metal balusters, picked up in the Tropical Transcend Spiced Rum Decking. We also designed the new Therma Tru doors & James Hardie Siding & Trim to complement these colors as well. The custom vertical PVC lattice on both decks plays into the new contemporary design and keeps out all of the pests that used to live underneath their house.
