These homeowners had 1 layer of cedar shingle siding that was peeling, cracking & would no longer hold paint. Due to the age of the house, there was no existing house wrap & the soffit size was insufficient for the overall size of the house. The homeowners strongly hated vinyl and to “paint and patch” was more than the Hardie solution and obviously did not have lasting warranties. These homeowners worked in construction for 30 years and wanted to find remodelers who knew what they were doing and would do the job right the first time.
PBS installed James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding Hardie Plank with Hardie House Wrap around the entire dwelling and taped around all seams including windows. Siding is a 5″ reveal Cedar Mill in Hardie’s Color Plus BoothBay Blue. We also added Hardie Window & Door Trim and Sills, Hardie Fascia, Hardie Soffit, and Hardie Corner boards in Arctic White. We also installed new construction Harvey windows & Trex Decking & Railings on their front and back porches.
These homeowners were incredible people to work with. We had so much fun & were happy to give them the peace-of-mind of low maintenance products with quality installation!
